In this speech Dr. Pierce explains how Professor Revilo Oliver influenced him to write The Turner Diaries, and the importance of fiction and entertainment-media in the shaping of public opinion.
After that he explains the necessity of radical social reforms, even beyond the solution of the racial problem, and discusses why the best and brightest of the White race, about whom Professor Oliver had despaired because of their cowardice, were nonetheless, because of worsening conditions, gradually coming to support Dr. Pierce’s radical position.
